How to Place the Electrode Pads 1. Ensure the TENS unit is turned off before applying the pads. 2. Place the pads 1 inch apart on either side of the sore region. 3. Avoid sensitive skin, open sores, varicose veins, numb areas, or your chest and upper back. 4. Position the pads below and above troublesome joints to maintain effective adhesion and treatment.
